Sonya White, DDS
You only need to spend five minutes with Dr. White to know that she is a friendly person who loves dentistry. Ask her anything you want to know about the field and she can provide a lucid explanation.
Dr. White first became interested in dentistry by going to her own dentist as a child. He made her checkups seem like so much fun to her that, as she got older, she went to work for him. Knowing that dentistry was the career for her, Dr. White entered the Howard University College of Dentistry. After graduating in 1996, she opened her own private practice.
Since then, Dr. White always wants to provide her patients with uncompromising clinical excellence. That’s why she devotes a significant amount of her time each year to attending continuing education courses. Dr. White has studied at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dentistry (LVI), a world renowned center for cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry. She is among the top 2% of dentists nationwide who have undergone this extensive program.
Dr. White is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Mississippi Dental Association, and the Alabama Dental Association. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three sons.
